About Us - Annabel
Annabel's career in the kitchen started in the kitchens at The Porth Tocyn Hotel in Wales, UK. During summer vacations from university she worked at Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club and at the age of 21 gained a job in the kitchens of the Queen's summer residence, Balmoral Castle. Annabel's cuisine is French inspired as she learnt a great deal when working in Courchevel and in Meribel in the French Alps.
Annabel is also a published children's author, poet and performer. Her book "If My Dad Were A Dog" is available both world wide and here at Aire Valley Guest House, signed if you wish.
About Us - Martin
Martin's work in London took him to many great restaurants around Europe. Chez Bruce in London and Hotel Meurice in Paris are particular favourites, though he still raves about the flavour of tomatoes in Milan. He believes he can match this flavour from the tomatoes in the garden.
Martin is the maître d' of Aire Valley Restaurant and will ensure great service throughout your dinner.
