Seasonal Menu - Organic Kitchen Garden

Aire Valley Restaurant

Our menu has a French influence with all our vegetables and herbs being picked daily from our organic kitchen garden. Salad from the garden is picked just moments before going on the plate ensuring the just-picked freshness we are reknowned for. In winter it is now uncommon to see your waiter in the garden with a torch picking the freshest food on the Great Ocean Road (if not Victoria).

Our menu is kept small to ensure the ingredients are fresh. Enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner by the log fire in winter, and in summer, dining is on the verandah overlooking the lakes of the Great Ocean Road and the Aire River Wildlife Reserve, (sometimes known as our own African plain).

Some restaurants measure their ingredients in food miles. With our vegetables, fruit and herbs is is usually measured in steps. Often, while you are reading the menu, your salad and vegetables are still growing.

Carefully selected wine list.

Our wine list is carefully selected to compliment our menu. Although we have a small list we have picked the best Otways wines and a few wines further afield in Victoria. More details about our wine list is available at our wine page.
